Starhome’s Global Roaming Hub Technology Enabler™ solution is designed for roaming hub service providers, such as the members of the the GSMA Open Connectivity initiative. The technology provides transparent roaming connectivity as well as a one-stop-shop for mobile network operators who are interested in building or extending their roaming coverage.
Currently, operators or group members (in cases of operator groups) manage their roaming by signing bi-lateral roaming agreements and maintaining them separately - as each operator has its own agenda for roaming coverage, capabilities and management. With the Global Roaming Hub Technology Enabler, operators are able to sign an agreement with the hub only, which enables them to benefit from all roaming agreements that the hub has signed with other operators. The technology also provides functionality and capabilities to better suit the single operator or the group operator’s needs, such as quality of service (QoS), roaming tests and cross operator clearing.
