Eitan Achlow - Chief Executive Officer, Starhome.
Eitan Achlow joined Starhome in 2009. Prior to joining the company, Eitan served at Comverse Technologies for 9 years and was part of its senior management team. During his tenure at Comverse, Eitan was appointed President of the Asia Pacific division from 2005-2008 where he brought together a strong team of professionals that tripled sales, succeeded in expanding into new markets and introduced innovative solutions. From 2002-2005 Eitan served as the General Manager of the SMS Business Division, where he managed all aspects of the SMS business unit and succeeded in bringing the company's worldwide market share from 7th to 2nd place. From 1999-2002 he served as the AVP of the Signaling R&D group and was responsible for all aspects of developing the signaling technology for all of the company’s products. Eitan graduated cum laude with a BSc degree in electrical engineering from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. He also holds a MBA cum laude in finance from Tel Aviv University and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program.
John Bunyon - Chief Marketing Officer, Senior Vice President, Comverse Technology, Inc.
Mr. John Bunyan has more than 20 years of senior management experience. He was Senior Vice President of Mobile Multimedia Services at AT&T Wireless and was responsible for the consumer wireless data business. In this role he helped develop messaging, mobile internet, and other consumer services. He also served as Senior Vice President of Marketing at Dun & Bradstreet, and prior to that, as Executive Vice President of Marketing at Reuters Americas. Mr. Bunyan has also consulted for a number of venture-funded firms in wireless and other industries.
Shefali Shah - Acting General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, Comverse Technology, Inc.
Ms. Shefali Shah has served as Acting General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Comverse Technology, Inc. since March 2009 and prior to that served as Associate General Counsel and Assistant Secretary since joining Comverse in June 2006. Prior to joining Comverse, Ms. Shah was a corporate attorney with Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP from September 2002 to June 2006 and with Hutchins, Wheeler & Dittmar, P.C. from September 1996 to August 2002. Ms. Shah has been a Director of Verint Systems Inc. since September 2007 and Director of Ulticom, Inc. since July 3, 2007. Ms. Shah holds a Juris Doctorate from Duke University School of Law.
Gal Hayut - Partner, Apax Partners.
Mr. Gal Hayut joined Apax Partners in 2000, and became a partner in 2002. Previously he held several management positions at IBM, Eli Lilly & Co. and Orbotech (Optrotech). Mr. Hayut is a board member of various high tech companies, in addition to Starhome, such as Power Paper, Wisair, Mobixell, Crescendo Networks, Printar, Digital Fuel and others. He graduated in Science and Computer Engineering from the Technion Institute of Technology and holds an MBA from INSEAD.
Yossi Sela - Managing Partner, Gemini Israel Funds.
Yossi Sela joined Gemini in 1993 when it was founded and became Managing Partner in 1998. He is one of the most accomplished venture capitalists in Israel and has achieved over 10 successful exits. In addition to ConteXtream, Yossi represents Gemini on the boards of portfolio companies PrimeSense, Xjet and The Gift Project. His past board positions include Allot Communications, Saifun Semiconductors, Commtouch, Precise and Ornet Data Communication, all of which enjoyed successful exits; in 1995, he acted as the interim CEO of Ornet until its acquisition by Siemens in September that year. Currently, Yossi also serves on the boards of the Russell Berrie Nanotechnology Institute (RBNI) at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, and of the Faculty of Management – The Leon Recanati Graduate School of Business Administration. He is on the board of trustees of the Academic College of Tel Aviv Jaffa as well. From 1990 to 1992, Yossi was Vice President of Marketing at semiconductor firm DSP Group (Nasdaq: DSPG) and worked as the VP of Marketing at spin-off company DSP Communications. Prior to DSP, he was Marketing Manager at Daisy Systems. He holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the Technion and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.
Eric S. Koza - Senior Vice President for Corporate Development and Financial Strategy at Comverse Technology.
Prior to joining Comverse in 2011, Mr. Koza worked at Zolfo Cooper, a provider of restructuring, financial and corporate advisory solutions, most recently as a Director. From November 2008 to March 2009, Mr. Koza served as a Senior Research Analyst at Pardus Capital Management L.P., a hedge fund. From March 2006 to present, Mr. Koza was a founding partner and member of Verax Capital, LLC and its affiliates, a controlled private investment firm. From October 1999 to February 2006, Mr. Koza worked for W.R. Huff Asset Management, LLC, a multibillion dollar investment advisor, in various capacities including: a partner in an alternative investment fund which invested in both public and private securities, a partner in a global securities fund and a distressed/high yield research analyst. Mr. Koza currently serves as member of the Board of Directors of GoodRadio.tv, a private broadcasting company focused on acquiring and operating radio and television properties in small and medium-sized markets and as a member of the Board of Directors of Starhome B.V. Mr. Koza formerly served as a member of the Board of Directors and Audit Committee of Impsat Fiber Networks, a provider of private telecommunications network and internet services in Latin America during the last five years. Mr. Koza is a CFA charter holder and holds a B.S. from Boston College and an M.B.A. from Boston University.
