Andre Dahan - President and Chief Executive Officer of Comverse Technology, Inc.
Mr. Andre Dahan is President and Chief Executive Officer of Comverse Technology, Inc., as well as a member of the Board of Directors. Before coming to Comverse, Mr. Dahan served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Mobile Multimedia Services at AT&T Wireless. in various positions with Dun & Bradstreet, a global business information and business tools provider, including Senior Vice President, Electronic Commerce of The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation, President of eccelerate.com, Inc. (a subsidiary of Dun & Bradstreet), President of Dun & Bradstreet, North America and Global Accounts, and President of Dun & Bradstreet U.S. In addition, Mr. Dahan served as Senior Vice President of World Wide Operations for Sequent Computers, and in various management positions at Teradata Corporation. Mr. Dahan serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ulticom and Verint Systems. He graduated from Hadassah College in Jerusalem with a degree in software engineering.
Eitan Achlow - Chief Executive Officer, Starhome
Mr. Eitan Achlow's technical expertise, knowledge of the telecommunications industry and management skills made him an obvious choice for Starhome CEO in 2009. A ten-year veteran of Comverse and part of its senior management team, Mr. Achlow was President of the Asia Pacific division for the past 3.5 years. He brought together a strong team of professionals that boosted sales, succeeded in expanding into new markets and introduced innovative solutions. Prior to being named president, Mr. Achlow was AVP of Comverse’s signaling group, which developed the signaling technology for all of the company’s products. In 2002, Mr. Achlow became VP and General Manager of the SMS product division, where he managed all aspects of the SMS business unit. He graduated with honors from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology with a BSc degree in electrical engineering. He also holds an MBA in finance from Tel Aviv University (cum laude) and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program.
Shefali Shah - Acting General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, Comverse Technology, Inc.
Ms. Shefali Shah has served as Acting General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Comverse Technology, Inc. since March 2009 and prior to that served as Associate General Counsel and Assistant Secretary since joining Comverse in June 2006. Prior to joining Comverse, Ms. Shah was a corporate attorney with Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP from September 2002 to June 2006 and with Hutchins, Wheeler & Dittmar, P.C. from September 1996 to August 2002. Ms. Shah has been a Director of Verint Systems Inc. since September 2007 and Director of Ulticom, Inc. since July 3, 2007. Ms. Shah holds a Juris Doctorate from Duke University School of Law.
Gal Hayut - Partner, Apax Partners
Mr. Gal Hayut joined Apax Partners in 2000, and became a partner in 2002. Previously he held several management positions at IBM, Eli Lilly & Co. and Orbotech (Optrotech). Mr. Hayut is a board member of various high tech companies, in addition to Starhome, such as Power Paper, Wisair, Mobixell, Crescendo Networks, Printar, Digital Fuel and others. He graduated in Science and Computer Engineering from the Technion Institute of Technology and holds and MBA from INSEAD.
Avi Hasson (Board Advisor) - General Partner, Gemini Israel Funds
In over nine years at Gemini, Avi has been involved with many startups in the communications sector, and currently sits on the Board of several Gemini portfolio companies. Previously to Gemini, Avi has been Director of Product Marketing in ECI Telecom. Prior to ECI, he held senior marketing and business development positions at ECtel and played a pivotal role in defining ECtel’s strategy to penetrate the telecom market. Avi holds a BA summa cum laude in Economics and Middle East Studies and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.
